This sweet motherhood event took place at one of my favorite venues here in Northwest Arkansas. Surrounded by dreamy florals styled by The Cottage Flower Shop it was set up for capturing some magical moments. Paired with some of my favorite gowns and the sweetest momma and her babies this shoot was guaranteed to deliver some of the most dreamy precious moments!

A motherhood event is something i have been wanting to do for quite some time now and I am so excited the opportunity finally came about. As mommas we give so much of ourselves and our time to our families. So i wanted to create a once a year event that was something special just for mommas and their children. Something that would highlight the love between them and shine some light on these sweet mommas. After all being a momma is the hardest and yet most rewarding job one could ever have.

It is heart breaking and the biggest blessing watching your heart exist outside of your body. You find yourself overwhelmed with excitement for each new milestone while clinging to parts of the past. As moms we long to see what their future holds while worrying and overthinking every little bump in the road. We go from holding their hands as they take their first steps to learning to let go. Your their first love, their first friend, a teacher, a nurse, a cook, the one who cleans up all the messes, the first one up and last one asleep, their safe place, their biggest cheerleader, the place they call home.

If you ask me, moms are super heros and one of life’s biggest blessings.

She gave just the right amount of direction, and somehow managed to capture the most genuine, love-filled moments. Every image tells a story, and I find something new to love each time I look at them.

And the turnaround time was so fast! We received our gallery way sooner than expected, and the quality of the edits is stunning. Dreamy, timeless, and so naturally flattering.
