Making the most of your rainy day session from a Rogers, Arkansas photographer

Making the most of your rainy day session can be easily done! While i know rainy weather is not always ideal. I have honestly had some beautiful sessions take place on over cast days where we just happen to catch a break from the rain. Now, obviously if it’s pouring rain outside it would be in your best interest if we rescheduled or simply wait for a break in the weather. But overcast is definitely something we can work with!

In fact overcast gives some of the best lighting for your images!

It’s like it creates a even blanket of light every where. Making it so we don’t have to worry about sun flares or harsh lighting. And it also opens up so many more options for where we can shoot your images. For example, wide open spaces where there would normally be to much harsh light coming thru is perfect on a overcast day. Your surrounded by beautiful even light. A photographers dream if were being honest!

Have some fun with your images!

Another great way to make the most of your rainy day session is to have some fun with your images! While i love a flowy gown and set of heels, I also love creating images that are unique to you. For Monica’s family her boys wanted to wear their bright pink and yellow rain boots. These was the boys favorite colors, so for them this gave them moments they can look back on someday and remember that little special quality in their images.
